About Lara Girgis

Lara Girgis is a Melbourne based artist. She graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design and an honours year.

​

She is currently employed part time as an art technician. In 2025 she published her first comic book titled WORM: a transformation by chronic illness. Her current artistic practice involves watercolour & gouache painting, pastel & pencil drawings, printmaking, and digital art creation. Her work often involves combining these mediums.
